Summer Hydrangea's 36x60"
This is a unique repurposed artwork. It arrived at the studio already framed and the original canvas had only one thin layer of big pink circles. It was signed 2000 on the back and I immediately saw hydrangeas popping off the canvas. I reimagined this piece creating several large hydrangea blossoms with deep green foliage. The original lilac colored border was left in tact and the hydrangeas and leaves were painted over to give the illusion of them “popping through the frame” Think, Connecticut summer, these lucious hyrdrangea blooms would look perfect as a statement piece in any New England home or office.
